Paul Weiss has the largest percentage of black attorneys while there are over 40 law firms with no black attorneys. See black attorney percentages for over 500 law firms. Howard Law is number one on our list of the Top 25 National Law Schools for Black Students.

Law schools have a record number of black deans and faculty. 28 law schools have black deans. A quarter of law schools have over 10% black faculty. See full lists inside the Black Student’s Guide to Law School & Firms.

We also rank the Best Regional Law Schools. Of note: Iowa and North Dakota law schools awarded black students over 5% of their JD degrees. That’s more than the University of Arkansas Fayetteville and LSU, which are located in states with high percentages of black residents.
